Can Margarit

It is the project of an isolated single-family house located in la Plana, Sitges.

The dwelling is raised with simple, clear, and dynamic volumetrics. Thanks to the wooden windows placed in all openings of the facades and the terrace. These windows are permeable and transportable, so they bring maximum movement to the faces of the house depending on the time of the day and the user’s light or privacy needs. The materials used are natural stone, wood, and iron, which are the essence of the project.

The distribution of the space is in three levels: the basement floor where you can find the technical rooms and the bodega, the ground floor for the day rooms, and the first floor for the night rooms, with a large terrace oriented towards the best sunlight, as well as the panoramic views of the village of Sitges.
