Preservation and recovery of architectural heritage.
The project involves the rehabilitation of a traditional Galician home with the aim of restoring the estate’s heritage value and its original architecture. It is a detached dwelling set on a landscaped plot, characteristic of the Galician rural typology.
The building, a single raised rectangular ground floor, houses the daytime spaces: a connected living and dining area, alongside an open but discreetly set-back kitchen, as well as a bedroom and a bathroom.
The first floor contains the nighttime area and is distinguished by its unique “L”-shaped configuration, where the short bay features a gabled roof and the main body a hipped roof, a defining element of the original volumetry.
The surrounding garden is conceived as a living landscape, with abundant vegetation and diverse tree species that strengthen the bond between the house and its setting.
